Carly Smithson gets voted off of American Idol

America has voted and the viewers of American Idol have decided that they prefer dreadlocks over tattoos! Carly Smithson was eliminated from the top 6 after her performance on Andrew Lloyd Webber week. Many people were surprised that Brooke White wasn't even in the bottom 2 after her major slip up.

American Idol - Top 12 Women Perform

The Top 12 American Idol women contestants performed songs from the 1960's tonight. Carly Smithson an Irish born singer is being called a ringer since it was revealed that she had record deal in 2001.
