American Idol - Finals
This might have been the most spectacular American Idol final since the show began. Both finalists David Cook and David Archuleta were at the top of their games.
I still see David Cook barely edging out David Archuleta as the winner.

American Idol Final 3 Perform
David Cook stole the show once again. I can't imagine anything but a David vs David final next week but we'll see tonight as the votes are tallied.
Here is David Cook performing Aerosmith's song - "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing"
David Archuleta performing "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg
Watch Syesha Mercado sing Fever (a very sexy video!)

American Idol - Top 4 Perform
Jason Castro became yet another contestant this season to flub lyrics to a song on American Idol. While performing the Bob Dylan classic "Mr. Tambourine Man", Jason forgot the words to the second verse. I thought it was a great choice for him, but I don't think American Idol fans will have as much sympathy this time around in voting as they did for Brooke White.
Meanwhile, David Cook's performance of Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf" had the audience screaming for more.

American Idol Top 5 Perform
The five remaining American Idol contestants all performed Neil Diamond songs tonight. Same old, same old responses from Simon, Paula and Randy. The show is beginning to drag on longer than a 162 game baseball season. Most likely Jason Castro or Brooke White will be going home tomorrow although we were completely wrong last week as Carly was voted off.
Watch David Archuleta sing "Sweet Caroline", a crowd favorite at Fenway Park.

American Idol Final 8 Performances
The performances last night were spectacular. However it seems to be a race between David Archuleta and David Cook. Who do you think is in the lead? We thought Jason Castro's performance of "Over the Rainbow" was the most creative as he whipped out his ukulele.

Here is David Archuleta performing - Angels
David Cook performing - Innocent

Who Will Go Home on American Idol?
Well, it's not going to be David Archuleta. Watch David Archuleta sing "Smokey Mountain Memories", which was one of the best performances of the night.
Find out who is leaving American Idol after an evening of Dolly Parton songs. The show airs at 9 PM EST tonight. The remaining 9 performers are:
David Archuleta
Jason Castro
David Cook
Kristy Lee Cook
Michael Johns
Ramiele Malubay (ELIMINATED)
Syesha Mercado
Carly Smithson
Brooke White
UPDATE: Ramiele Malubay, a 20-year-old contestant from Florida, was voted off Wednesday night. Malubay was eliminated from the competition after she performed Dolly Parton's Do I Ever Cross Your Mind.

American Idol Top 11 - Week 2 of the Beatles
The Beatles theme continued this week on American Idol. The producers of the show will most likely never have the same theme on consecutive weeks ever again. Many contestants failed to impress the judges and the show was uninspiring. Check out some of the best and the worst of Wednesday's show.

Fan favorite David Archuleta Forgets Lyrics
American Idol contestants rocked out to Lennon-McCartney Beatles songs. Unfortunately, fan favorite David Archuleta was the first of the top 12 to forget his lyrics. One contestant will be cut on Wednesday, will Archuleta be the one?

David Archuleta - the American Idol Favorite Right Now
David Archuleta is the front runner so far amongst the Amercian Idol men.
With the exception of Archuleta, it was a rough night for most of the 10 male contestants who performed songs from the 1970's.
